Review: MagnaKase Magnetic Dry Erase Activity Case

My family lives about 500 miles from us so needless to say we take a lot of road trips.I have a 2 year old and a 7 year old so travel friendly items are our best friend around here. There are so many things out there that claim to do one thing and do something else. It is really hard to find the ones that actually work they way they claim.

We just arrived home from visiting my mom for Memorial Day weekend and I had to tell you about a great product that we took along with us. It’s called the MagnaKase Magnetic Dry Erase Activity Case. Say that 5 times fast!. It is a sturdy plastic case with a magnetic dry erase surface. It serves both as an activity board and storage case, and fits into a standard backpack. Children will love traveling with their MagnaKase as they are guaranteed endless fun anywhere, anytime when combined with other MagnaPlay magnetic activities that are specifically designed to be used with MagnaKase.

The only problem I had with this product is that I have 2 boys and I only had on Magna Play! Of course one always wants what the other has! Royal started out using it while Spencer was asleep and once Spencer woke up, he went on to watching the DVDs. They both had a really great time using it. I didn’t have Spencer whining every 5 seconds that he was dropping his papers on the floor.

The MagnaKase is one of a kind magnetic case that can serve the dual purpose of an activity board and a storage case for children’s favorite magnetic activities. They can use the top of the case as a dry erase board as it has a dry erase magnetic surface. During travel, children can use the MagnaKase as an activity lapboard while in a car seat, in a flight, in a restaurant or even during a picnic as it is just the right size. The MagnaKase comes with two magnetic surfaces. The 12″ x 10.6″ x 2.7″ hinged case is made of high grade plastic, has built-in snap-lock latches, an integrated handle that can be locked, which makes it convenient for children to carry it around. Children can reuse the MagnaKase as eiher a keepsake or scrapbook box as they grow up.

The case comes with 2 Magnetic strips (8″ X 1″) that secures children’s favorite coloring pages to the activity surface, for coloring with crayons, color pencils or markers while on the go. Coloring pages and markers can be stored in the MagnaKase.

You get 1 Dry erase marker and Eraser free with the MagnaKase. The fine tip marker is ultra low odor, non-toxic and is washable off of skin with soap and water. The 2″ x 1 3/8″ x 11 1/16″ eraser is made from recycled material (wood and felt) and is virtually indestructible.
