When we purchased our new home in 2007, the first thing I was concerned about was having VERY LIGHT colored carpeting in the house with 2 boys and a dog. I have been having  my carpets shampooed every 3 months, which you can guess, NOT CHEAP! I had purchased 2 other brand cleaners and I ended up returning them. For the price I was paying for these cleaners, I wanted results!

The Bissell ProHeat 2X Select Pet Carpet Cleaner definitely gave me results! It cleaned up every pet paw print, ever juice spill and every boot print that was on my carpets! I was completely impressed with this cleaning and I HIGHLY recommend it if you are in the market for a carpet cleaner. All of the facts on this machine are below. Amazon has them for $240.00

For tough carpet stains, this upright deep cleaner uses a hot, cleansing formula and extremely powerful suction to quickly remove stains and embedded debris. Twelve rows of powerful brushes agitate ground-in dirt and bring it to the surface, while a wide floor nozzle with a 12-inch cleaning path extracts all traces for spotless results every time. Perfect for cleaning carpet, upholstery, and stairs, the 12 amp unit provides an array of accessories that include a 3-inch stain-removing tool, a 4-inch upholstery tool, a spraying crevice tool, a handheld TurboBrush, and a 6-inch pet-stain eraser tool. A 16-ounce bottle of Tough Stain and a 16-ounce bottle of Pet Formula are also included. The cleaner’s built-in heater heats hot tap water up to 25 degrees hotter for optimal effectiveness, but will never allow the temperature to exceed 190 degrees. The heat can also be easily switched off when cleaning delicate wool or Oriental rugs.

Bissell ProHeat models all feature a patented built-in heater that will heat the hot tap water you put in up to 25 degrees hotter to safely optimize cleaning effectiveness. The heater will never allow the temperature to exceed 190 degrees. The Heater switch on the front of the machine controls the heater so you have the option to turn off the heat if you are cleaning delicate wool or Oriental rugs.

The two DirtLifter PowerBrush rollers are designed to enhance cleaning performance. The bristle pattern safely lifts out the deep-down dirt while gently grooming carpet fibers. The floating suspension self-adjusts to all carpet heights and protects your carpet if you leave the power switch on. Once the product is in the Upright position, the brushes automatically stop spinning. The Detent Pedal will activate the brush when floor cleaning.

The Custom Clean feature automatically mixes hot tap water with the Bissell formula. Simply choose one of the our settings (Heavy Traffic, Normal Clean, Light Clean, or Rinse) and the ProHeat 2X will adjust the right amount of cleaning solution to mix with the heated water to fit your cleaning need.

Spencer has been walking around for 2 weeks with a Panda Bear on his back. Are you thinking HUH? Well of course its not a REAL Panda Bear, don’t be silly! I was watching TV yesterday when a new commercial came on for Post-It Removable Labels. I had actually never heard of them before but loved the idea! Then silly me remembered that I received a package of samples and these were in there! Instead of having the traditional adhesive strip like a Post-It note, these have an entire backing of adhesive so the entire label sticks! I loved this idea for the bins in the boys playroom. I will switch to a more traditional label in the future but for now these are working great!
