PostHeaderIcon #Free PlayTown Story Building App for ages 3-9

It’s amazing how  kids as young as 2, can grab a phone or iPod, unlock it, and find their way to their favorite apps. I don’ t know about you but I am pretty sure I was probably eating dirt when I was 2. There are so many apps available for kids these days, it’s hard to go through them all and find the great ones.

Look no further… I don’t normally post about apps but when I was asked to check this one out, I was glad I did and had to share it with you. It’s called PlayTown: My Story Maker and it is a wonderful new app for kids, ages 3-9. To be honest, I had fun with it myself.

It is a simple to use app that explains everything when you enter your name. I love that you can change the facial expressions and even add fun little trinkets to your story. You can add characters and even your own image to the story. It offers a lot of story enhancements like background changes, and a number of props. Next you narrate and select the music for your story. Once you have completed your personalized story, you can share it with friends and family!

PostHeaderIcon @Disney The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition Blu-Ray/DVD #Giveaway

The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition Giveaway - DelightfulChaos.comThe Little Mermaid is one of my favorite Disney classics! I am sure that many woman out there would say this exact same thing. I remember when it came out. I was 11 years old and i just had to have it. Of course, back then it was a VHS tape. I even still have the original “controversial” box it came in. I might have been just a little geeked when I hear that it was being released again as a new Diamond Edition Blu-ray+DVD combo pack. When received it in the mail, I made the boys watch it with me. At first they were not too thrilled but half way into it, their faces were hysterical! Was Ariel going to get to be human? Would she get her voice back? Would Eric know it was her?! Oh dear, it was so funny.

I honestly don’t even remember how long it had been since I watched it. The boys were making it really fun asking questions like, “Mom, how do you know all the songs?!” I know, pretty pathetic that I remember them all right? NAH! It’s a great cartoon!

Venture under the sea where Ariel, a free-spirited mermaid princess, longs to be part of the human world. After bravely striking a bargain with Ursula, a sneaky sea witch, Ariel embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. With Flounder and Sebastian at her side, Ariel will need all of her courage and determination to make things right in both her worlds.

If you have never seen this movie, you really should. There are so many Disney movies out there but this was is really the best in my opinion. It’s just not just for little girls, as my boys proved within 10 minutes of watching it. Enter on the Rafflecopter below for a chance to sin a copy to share with your little mermaids and mermen!

PostHeaderIcon @Pampers Gift of Sleep #Giveaway

My “baby” turned 6 years old this year. When I walk through the store, I am in awe over all of the new stuff that has come out since he was little. From the looks of things, diapers have come a long way in a few short years as well. We all remember those nights, the ones where baby was actually sound asleep, you thought you were going to get that good night sleep that you had been wanting so bad, then BAM, your angel wakes up crying and you find a mess from a leaky diaper or a lost pacifier.

By interviewing over 9,000 moms about what was important for their baby, Pampers found the number one unmet need is a diaper that provides superior overnight dryness.  Pampers incorporated this firsthand insight, as well as the brand’s deep understanding of baby and baby’s needs, to design a diaper that both mom and baby can count on for up to 12 hours of overnight protection.

Papers Gift of Sleep

I would like to introduce you to the newest addition to, one of my oldest friends, family. This is Emersyn, and her big sister Carlee, who was born on October 1st. When I was contacted about the Gift Of Sleep, I was hoping that Emersyn would be here in time. I couldn’t think of a Mom and Dad who needed sleep more. Emersyn’s Mommy and Daddy also have 3 other daughters. Poor Daddy right but hey, George, the wiener dog, at least adds some testosterone to the house.
