PostHeaderIcon Easter Baskets On A Budget

Image3Every year I would go to a big box store and overpay for the kids Easter baskets. If you are wondering why I didn’t just reuse the ones from the previous year, just start laughing now. The main reason is the kids would want to use them in their rooms for their “stuff”. They weren’t high quality so they always ended up broken. Let’s just go with it’s the kids’ fault.

Once you get their baskets, you go overboard on filling it with things that they will be excited about for all of 5 minutes. Royal and Spencer were way more excited about colored pencils and chalk, years ago. Alex truly just loves everything so his baskets are super easy. Hunter and Royal, not so much anymore. Teenagers seem to get more expensive as they get older.

This year, get baskets that will last a very long time! When they have outgrown Easter, they have a fantastic bin they can use for whatever they want…. or you can steal it to organize your home. BONUS FOR MOM!

Right now you can get 2 amazing baskets for just $15 with every $35 spent. That’s 2 for $15, not $15 each. Where can you get a gorgeous basket for $7.50? Need 2? Need 4? I got you!  read the rest of this entry »

PostHeaderIcon Start your Christmas shopping now with Groupon

GrouponWe have to face the fact that Christmas is 4 months away. I personally always intend to start early but, time goes by so fast. We wake up and suddenly, it’s December 1st. As if it’s not enough having to shop for friends and family, I have 4 sons to shop for. I don’t even know what teenage boys like anymore. I scroll though page after page of things and I just don’t see anything that jumps out at me. This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine.

I took a shot and started looking through all of the great Groupon Goods. I hit the motherload! From electronics to clothes to entertainment, they have it all. I was able to finish my christmas shopping in just two days. I now have the next 4 months to focus on family and organizing my home.

The next time you sit down to browse the internet for gifts, go take a look at Groupon. I bet that you will end up buying more than you thought you would. You will find something on your list for everyone. Then you will have months to not worry about shopping too.

PostHeaderIcon Show You Care With A Stop At The Bouqs Company

I have never been much of a flower girl. They are pretty to look at but they die in no time. I don’t care much for roses either. Most people think that is odd. I normally get, “What woman doesn’t love roses?” DING this one! Tulips are my all time favorite. One year, a guy I was dating bought me 4 dozen of them. Of course, that day I changed my mind a little bit about liking flowers.

Flowers can be very costly. They are beautiful but for many people, it can be a real bank breaker to have a lovely centerpiece for your holiday table. The Bouqs Company (as seen on Shark Tank, O! Oprah Magazine, Forbes, E!, The Today Show, & Popsugar), is changing the flower industry one bouquet at a time. Traditional flower delivery services act as a middle man causing prices to increase and flower freshness to decrease. The Bouqs Company owns their own flower farm, growing flowers in the rich soil of an active volcano. All bouquets are cut to order and are sent to your door. There is no waste, and there is no middle man, leaving you with great savings. They also have Eco-friendly flowers, that are gorgeous. There is also flower subscriptions as well as wedding packages. read the rest of this entry »

PostHeaderIcon Enjoy summer vacation without Identity Theft #LifeLocksafety #Giveaway

Lifelock Badge - DelightfulChaos.com
A few years ago, I was able to sit down at the LifeLock Headquarters, in Tempe, AZ and be completely schooled in things you wouldn’t even believe about fraud protection. Most people think, “That will never happen to me.” but believe me, you are no exception. Many years ago, I went in for what was a routine oil change. It was one of those in and out places. A few days later, I received a phone call about someone attempting to use my debit card to purchase an escort. Yes, I instantly laughed as well, until I found out the guy wasn’t kidding. It seemed that the man who changed my oil, failed to return my debit card. Me, distracted by, most likely, my son, I never noticed it was missing. After almost 2 months, all of my funds were returned by the bank. I am sorry to say that out local law enforcement did nothing. We filed all of the paper work and they did nothing. It’s pretty sad.

If you have already taken your summer trip, or have yet to, protecting yourself is important. We carry credit cards, drivers license, cash, and some people even carry around their social security cards. Take a moment to read over these 10 Ways to Avoid Identity Theft While Traveling
