I was with me ex-husband for almost 10 years and every year, his grandfather would send us a wonderful delivery from Hickory Farms for Christmas. It was that little treat that we knew was coming every holiday and we loved it. In the past few years I have started to send it back to him as well as to my mom. With my Dad being gone now, it is something small that I can do for her that she looks forward to and makes her smile.

Mom Central was kind enough to send me a Perfect Picnic Gift Basket to review. This Perfect Picnic Basket comes with everything. The lucky person who opens it will find it filled with Hickory Farms Summer Sausage, creamy cheeses, crackers and mustard’s. Their Melt Away Mints and Famously Thin Peanut Brittle promise a sweet ending! Think of all the family picnics that will be all the more special because they open and close with a keepsake Peterboro Basket. Yes, I did say a Peterboro basket! As if the gift isn’t Hickory Farms is not enough? This awesome basket includes – 10 oz. Beef Summer Sausage, 7 oz. Turkey Summer Sausage, 7 oz. Beef & Pork Summer Sausage, 4 oz. Mission Jack Blend,  4 oz. Creamy Swiss Blend, 6 oz. Famously Thin Peanut Brittle, 12 oz. Mini Melt Away Mints, 5 oz. Flat Bread Crackers, 2.25 oz. Sweet Hot Mustard,  2.5 oz. Honey Pineapple Mustard, and the Keepsake Peterboro Basket. As expected, the sausages and cheese were delicious! I swiped the Peanut Brittle before the boys could see it! YUMMY!

I have never tried something from Hickory Farms yet that I didn’t like. There are a few cheeses that an acquired taste but still delicious! They have a great selection of things from meat to cheese to fruit! There is also a price range for everyone also from $4.49 to $120! If I could choose anything from their site it would be the Grand Gift Snack Tower!

There is always that person on your list that you have no idea what to buy for them. I do personally recommend something from Hickory. It’s a quality product that has been around for a over 50 years. They know their meat and cheese!
