PostHeaderIcon Packing Lunches with Udi’s Gluten-Free Foods

Disclosure: This is a post written by me and any opinions expressed are my own. I may or may not have received compensation for my services.

I know a lot of people who only eat gluten free products. My friends have children who are autistic and only eat gluten free, another eats it for reasons revolving around working out and many other reasons. Either because they have to or because they choose to.

School is back in session and coming up with gluten-free lunch ideas that won’t bore your children can sometimes be a challenge. Let Udi’s make it easier (and more fun of course) with their selection of gourmet snacks and goodies that last will last in your child’s bookbag and locker through all those morning activities and right on into lunchtime.

If you think like my Mom does, you would automatically assume that gluten free items are going to taste gross. This is not the case! Now sure, I have eaten a few things and they weren’t to my liking but, I also ate some that were absolutely delicious! It’s not going to taste the same as what you are used to eating. It is really no different than switching to Fat Free, low calorie, sugar free or some other food change. It’s all going to taste different but, that doesn’t mean it has to taste bad.

Udi’s offers a pretty nice selection of products. Their new line is just yummy! These items include, Cranberry Almond Granola Bars, Ancient Grain Granola Bars, Chocolate Chip Granola Bars, Salted Caramel Cashew Cookies, Maple Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookie, Coconut Peanut Butter Cookie, Jalapeno Cheddar Ancient Grain Crisps, Sea Salt Ancient Grain Crisps, and Aged Cheddar Ancient Grain Crisps. Yes, I did say cookies and granola bars! I am a big fan of the Salted Caramel Cashew Cookies.

My absolute favorite product, which of course is something sweet, is the Dark Chocolate Brownie Bites. I have tried something similar from another company and was very disappointed. They were extremely dry and I couldn’t eat past one bite. The Udi’s brownie bites were so moist and flavorful. I may have eaten a few more than I should have. The boys were big fans as well.

There is definitely something for everyone available from Udi’s Gluten Free Foods. You can get bagels, breads, rolls, buns, cookies, brownies, chips, granola, granola bars, muffins, cinnamon rolls, pizza, crust, and tortillas! Yep, all of that! There is a great variety and you will surely find items that you love.

I passed a few items on to my friend and her husband to try. He only eats Gluten Free and it was fun getting other opinions. The Harvest Crunch Muffins was what she tried and when I asked her what she thought, it was pretty clear they were good. “I liked the muffins!”

Her husband had the chance to try the Cherry Walnut Granola Clusters. He said,” I really loved this. It was packed fun of flavor and really filled me up. I would definitely buy these! I liked the chips and the tortillas. I tried the cookies and they were good but very dry and flaky. They fell apart when I took a bite. The kids didn’t like the flavor of them.”

Give Udi’s Gluten Free products a try. I am sure you will love them too!

Disclosure: I received all of the products show above from Udi’s for review.
