One thing I am very anal about in my home is the beds. I change sheets weekly and all pillows and mattress have covers. I know why I am like this. When I was a kid we had one of those door to door sales people come and try to sell us a vacuum. you know the ones, It rhymes with Dirby… Anyway, he had this display attachment and these pads that he hooked up to the side of the vacuum so tat you could see exactly what he was sucking up. Well he did our beds. He turned on the vacuum for all of 3 seconds and that pad filled up with NASTY stuff from my mattress. He did this over and over again in one small 12×12 spot and each time it pulled up gross stuff. People do not realize just how much dead skin and such get into your mattress. It really is disgusting. It is funny that I have kept that with me for over 20 years but because of it everything gets covers in my house. For the kids, I put 2 protectors on their pillows. Yes… I am very weird about this lol

If you have ever had a plastic cover on your child’s mattress, then you know that you can feel all of the dead skin and particles on the plastic when you remove it. This makes it pretty obvious that nothing is getting in to the mattress. The Protect-A-Bed cover has a feature similar to that. It is soft and cozy on the top but the underside is a this soft flexible plastic that protects your bed. It also works good if you have kids that hop up on the bed with drinks or animals The cover did not affect my sleeping in any way. Some covers shift when you move around or bulk up. This one was great. I recommend it if your in the market. Now I just need matching covers for the pillows and ones for my kids beds!
