VERDICT: We also own a similar children’s tablet and this one is faster and more spot on when drawing and writing compared to the other. It has a great selection of things for the kids to do and kept them busy on an 8 hour drive we recently took. I liked that it was geared for kids ages 4 to 9 because my boys are in fact 4 and 9. They were able to share it and swap tablets with each other on the trip. One of the things that I didn’t care for with this and our other one is the excessive prompts to “Connect to your parents computer”. I think it should prompt you a few times when you begin using it and then a lot less often. One feature I liked is that it is larger in size than it’s competitor. There are a lot of great VTech products on the market and we loved this one. I would recommend the InnoTab the LeapPad Explorer. The VTech InnoTab retails for $80 and you can pick it up at most major retail store such as Target and K-Mart.
