PostHeaderIcon Welcome Back Excedrin Migraine! Still Managing Mommy Migraines

Most Moms know that when a migraine hits, you have to get it immediately. I personally have trucked through many of them because I had to. The boys still want dinner, still have homework to get done and are still going to yell and fight. Life doesn’t stop because Mom doesn’t feel good, especially not for us single ones.

I recently went to New York for the Excedrin Migraine Media Event. Even though I have been using Excedrin Migraine for many years, there was so much information that I was unaware of. According to a recent survey from the makers of Excedrin Migraine, a large majority of women who suffer from migraines agree that with a better understanding of their triggers (90%) and the right tools to track their triggers and symptoms (83%), they can better manage an attack. That’s why the folks at Excedrin® Migraine have developed a new app called My Migraine Triggers. This apple is available free on iTunes. It allows you to track and gather information  so you can understand what might be triggering your migraines. Once you find those triggers, you can begin to try to prevent them. You can download the app at MigraineResource.comI never tracked my triggers so I was really excited to learn about the My Migraine Triggers app. I really recommend checking it out because some of the features are really impressive and helpful.

When I was 18 I couldn’t wait to move out of my parents house. What’s the main reason most do that other than going off to college? No more rules! I’ll admit, this was my reasoning back then. Maybe not the basic, “Be home by 11 pm.” rules but there are still rules. So, whether you or your kids are off to college for the first time or returning back after a summer break, you probably never gave it much thought that general life rules will still apply. This being the rules of plain old common sense.

More and more people seem to be getting fake ID’s. It’s amazing that at 18 you want to be 21 but at 41 you want to be 31. Where do kids order fake ID’s from? Anywhere and everywhere! The thing that they don’t realize is, if they are giving you someone else’s identity, they are probably taking yours too.

PostHeaderIcon Summer Travel Creates Opportunity for Identity Theft

Hanging out with my guy! Yes, I was a bit jet lagged in this one lol

The boys and I just came back from an adventurous trip to California. It was the first vacation the three of us have taken together! I am so proud of my boys for all of the things they got themselves involved in. I don’t force them to do things. I present them with the opportunities to.

We were there for 7 days so I wanted to be sure there was enough to do but I didn’t want to wear them out so much that the following day they were exhausted. We limited the big events to one per day. Since it gets so hot late in the afternoon, we were up and at em’ at 6:30 almost every day. We spent the latter part of the days swimming and visiting. There is no shortage of fun things to do in Cali!

PostHeaderIcon You might want to know…… for your own protection

If you are as interested in things like protecting your Identity and never know what to do with old documents in your home, here are a few videos you might like. It is so important to shred your documents. If you have a shredder and it makes the spaghetti kind of cuts, I really do recommend getting a cross-cut shredder. These cut them into little pieces. Why does it matter? The other kind allow for documents to easily be put back together, giving an identity thief all of the information they need to steal your identity.
