New Car Face Cars.com - DelightfulChaos.com
I used to love going shopping with my  Dad. It was always an experience. The most fun I had with him was when he was looking to buy a new truck. Car shopping was the best! He had the average Joe look about him so sales people always figure that he couldn’t afford what he was looking at. I didn’t understand why this entertained him, when I was a kid. As I got older, I began to see the humor in it. It was mostly about people judging him by how he looked.

I think the most fun I have ever had, while buying a new vehicle, was in 2002. I purchased an SUV off of Ebay. The dealer listed it very low thinking that there would be a bidding war and he would make a fortune. That didn’t happen. I remember sitting there, watching the minutes and seconds tick away. I just knew that someone was going to high bid at the last moment and win it out from under me. To my surprise, it didn’t happen! I picked up the SUV for a steal. It was located about 600 miles from where I live. When my Dad went to check it out, the guy actually tried to talk him out of buying it. We laughed about it for many years after.

PostHeaderIcon Review: Cars Toon – Mater’s Tall Tales for Wii

Each year as the holiday season approaches, I do my best to get the boys at least SOME of the things they actually want in the ‘ridiculous price” category.  Thankfully this year the lists are much cheaper for their wants! My 8 year old has a lot of Wii games on his list. While not the cheapest things around, they are much cheaper than his request for say a trip to California to visit our good friend.  This winter, Disney/Pixar’s Cars Toon: Maters Tall Tales, a new Wii game from Disney will give your family a fun new reason to get excited, off the couch, and spend an afternoon together.

Inspired by Disney/Pixar’s wildly popular animated shorts of the same name, Cars Toon: Maters Tall Tales brings Mater together with Lightning McQueen and the Cars gang in a collection of pick-up-and-play games. With 30 levels, you’ll have enough variety to keep everyone in your family entertained, whether you want to try death-defying stunts in “Mater the Greater,” run with the bulls in “El Materdor,” or help a friend with “Rescue Squad Mater.” Plus both cooperative and competitive games give you the option to team up or take on your kids in a fun head-to-head family challenge.

This is one of the cutest “whole family” games I have come across lately. Even my 3 year old can play it with us which makes him very happy.  The games are fun and the characters are even funnier. If you are looking for a Wii game to pick up this holiday, take a look at the video below. I think you might agree that this one will be on your pick list!
