The Little Mermaid is one of my favorite Disney classics! I am sure that many woman out there would say this exact same thing. I remember when it came out. I was 11 years old and i just had to have it. Of course, back then it was a VHS tape. I even still have the original “controversial” box it came in. I might have been just a little geeked when I hear that it was being released again as a new Diamond Edition Blu-ray+DVD combo pack. When received it in the mail, I made the boys watch it with me. At first they were not too thrilled but half way into it, their faces were hysterical! Was Ariel going to get to be human? Would she get her voice back? Would Eric know it was her?! Oh dear, it was so funny.
I honestly don’t even remember how long it had been since I watched it. The boys were making it really fun asking questions like, “Mom, how do you know all the songs?!” I know, pretty pathetic that I remember them all right? NAH! It’s a great cartoon!
Venture under the sea where Ariel, a free-spirited mermaid princess, longs to be part of the human world. After bravely striking a bargain with Ursula, a sneaky sea witch, Ariel embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. With Flounder and Sebastian at her side, Ariel will need all of her courage and determination to make things right in both her worlds.
If you have never seen this movie, you really should. There are so many Disney movies out there but this was is really the best in my opinion. It’s just not just for little girls, as my boys proved within 10 minutes of watching it. Enter on the Rafflecopter below for a chance to sin a copy to share with your little mermaids and mermen!

I am not sure why but Royal loves all those shows on Disney Channel. He also loves music and acting silly to it. What could be better they combining the two? I personally didn’t care for this one much (but I am 34 so my opinion doesn’t count right?) but he like it. HE is like Mom, doesn’t care who sings what, what’s cool or not, he likes what he likes and that’s it!
