I don’t know about were you live but, the weather in Ohio has finally started to feel more like Spring. Alright, well maybe not the nights when it was in the 30’s but, the days have been much more comfortable. It is that time to start getting the 2 legged and 4 legged kids out to the parks and get them moving.

One of the ways that you can help add to getting out horizontal kids a little healthier, is to join in on the Purina One 28 Day Challenge. I would like to introduce you to Lola. She is a 4 month old Pit Bull. If you have been following my blog for awhile, you will know that I am a supporter of the breed. Lola is a Purina dog already but, she is switching over to the Purina One for this challenge. I am very excited to get her started! Since Lola is a newcomer to our planet, it’s important that the right food is picked for her. She is energetic, loving, and definitely has her own brilliant personality going. She is smart as a whip too! Lola already knows all of her commands and is house broken.

PostHeaderIcon What’s in your Dogs Name?

When I was 18 years old, my then boyfriends Golden Retriever decided to have some fun with the neighbors dog, who was a terrier mix, and ended up pregnant. I saw her have the litter and instantly fell in love. I brought home one of the puppies and begged my Dad to let me keep her. He was very hesitant at first but of course, being Daddy’s little girl, I won.

My baby girl didn’t have a name for almost a month. I had no idea what to call her. I wanted something that fit her personality and it took me that long to figure it out. To understand this story, I have to include the fact that I wear contact lenses. To me, it is humorous now but at the time I just sat there and cried.

I don’t believe in leashing my dogs. I never have in my life and I never will. I always trained them to stay by my side. Leashes were only ever used when absolutely necessary, such as walks in the park where they were required  per the rules of the park.

PostHeaderIcon Daisy thinks Cooper is so soft…. (Pedigree Wrap-up)

Me when I was 8 weeks old

WOOF! Sorry, I thought I was talking to George for a moment. Good Morning Pedigree fans! I have been eating Pedigree for almost 6 weeks now over this time I had to slowly work up my tummy to get used to the new food. I noticed a little difference in my coat while I have been doing this Ambassador gig. It’s so soft *doggie giggle* Our neighbors dog, Daisy, said she likes it too. *doggie wink* I think Mommy is going to make this my regular yummy food. Since I am not even 1 yet, I have not tried that many different foods. If I had to pick I would say that Pedigree is so far my favorite. The big pieces really crunch good in my teeth!

…………………………………….

Sorry for that long pause, just thinking about it made me have to run to my bowl and get a bite. *crunch crunch crunch* Mom said I had to get this done before breakfast so I am a little hungry *doggie tummy rumble* *runs back for a drink of water* Okay where was I, on yes, I love he big crunchy bites. I feel like my teeth are getting a cleaning while I am eating! Go out and get

I am sad to see this come to and end. I loved all the extra treats Mom gave me for remembering to tell you follow @PedigreeUS on Twitter. Don’t forget. PostHeaderIcon Cooper loves Pizza… I mean Pedigree

Mom has been feeding me Pedigree Large Breed food for about 3 weeks now. I am getting a full bowl now! I don’t have to push the old food around with my nose anymore because she was mixing it together. I know Mom! You HAD to do it because it was healthier for me. *puppy eye roll* I had no problems switching over. Some of my friends have sensitive tummies and have to eat the same food all the time. I am so glad I don’t have to do that. Sometimes a change of taste is nice. Would you want to eat Pizza everyday for dinner? Ohhh pizza!!! Sorry, I was momentarily distracted by Pizza… PIZZA!! Focus Cooper, Focus! Not that my Mommy feeds me pizza of course. Okay maybe once or twice she gave me her crust but that’s it! Paw Promise!

Did you know that large breed dogs, like me, have very special nutritional needs? Pedigree large Breed Nutrition for Dogs is specially formulated to address those needs with powerful ingredients to promote strong bones, and naturally sourced glucosamine to nourish healthy joints. I love this tasty recipe and the larger-sized pieces because it helps me to stop gulping down my food! Mom hates that. *hangs puppy head*

My friend George tried to steal some but I got the last woof! HAHA George! Your little Dachshund butt is to small for this LARGE BREED food. *doggie snicker*

I get a biscuit if I remember to tell you follow @PedigreeUS on Twitter. Don’t forget. Pedigree has a goal to help make sure stories  of animals in shelters have happy endings.
