PostHeaderIcon @Disney The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition Blu-Ray/DVD #Giveaway

The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition Giveaway - DelightfulChaos.comThe Little Mermaid is one of my favorite Disney classics! I am sure that many woman out there would say this exact same thing. I remember when it came out. I was 11 years old and i just had to have it. Of course, back then it was a VHS tape. I even still have the original “controversial” box it came in. I might have been just a little geeked when I hear that it was being released again as a new Diamond Edition Blu-ray+DVD combo pack. When received it in the mail, I made the boys watch it with me. At first they were not too thrilled but half way into it, their faces were hysterical! Was Ariel going to get to be human? Would she get her voice back? Would Eric know it was her?! Oh dear, it was so funny.

I honestly don’t even remember how long it had been since I watched it. The boys were making it really fun asking questions like, “Mom, how do you know all the songs?!” I know, pretty pathetic that I remember them all right? NAH! It’s a great cartoon!

Venture under the sea where Ariel, a free-spirited mermaid princess, longs to be part of the human world. After bravely striking a bargain with Ursula, a sneaky sea witch, Ariel embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. With Flounder and Sebastian at her side, Ariel will need all of her courage and determination to make things right in both her worlds.

If you have never seen this movie, you really should. There are so many Disney movies out there but this was is really the best in my opinion. It’s just not just for little girls, as my boys proved within 10 minutes of watching it. Enter on the Rafflecopter below for a chance to sin a copy to share with your little mermaids and mermen!

The Conjuring #Giveaway - DelightfulChaos.com

Based on a true story, the movie tells the horrifying account of how famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were summoned to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse which they recently bought. In fighting this powerful demonic being, the Warrens find themselves in the middle of the most terrifying case of their lives!

I went to see The Conjuring in the theaters back in July with a few friends. There were so many people in the theater that we ended up sitting 5 rows from the screen. I am a top row middle kind of girl. It was really a weird angle to watch a movie from to start with but when you throw in something that is meant to scare the hell out of you, it’s interesting.

I am not a big horror movie person and in my opinion, if this hadn’t been a true story, it would have bored me. I am not a jumper at these kinds of movies either. I look for whats happening and just expect it. We also had just as much fun laughing at all of the reactions from people around us. If you are into these kinds of movies, history, true stories etc, I do recommend checking this one out.

PostHeaderIcon Who remembers The Berenstain Bears ?

I should be calling this flashback Friday! When I received an email about reviewing the new DVD release of The Berenstain Bears: Golden Brother Edition and The Berenstain Bears: Golden Sister Edition, I about fell off my chair. I didn’t even know this was still being shown! I was watching this cartoon back in the 80’s and was so excited to have Spencer watch it. There is something about sharing your childhood treasures with your own children that makes the day. Most of you probably watched the original 1985 TV series but there is a newer 2003 series out. Still just as cute though.

PostHeaderIcon The Jungle Book The Movie: Rumble In the Jungle on DVD

I think that being a Mom makes you love cartoons even more than you did as a child. My Mom has just about every Disney DVD that has ever been made. One thing we always do when we go there is have at least one night where we do nothing but watch cartoons and eat snacks. I will admit it, when the boys leave, I find myself watching their cartoons. Once I realize they left I wonder why I didn’t turn it off. Subconsciously, I am addicted to some of them too I think.

The Jungle Book is BACK on DVD and will be available as a limited edition with collectible toys exclusively at Walmart stores in the U.S. for $14.86. The DVD, which will release nationwide in June 2013, is just over an hour and the perfect feature for families with children ages 2-6. The DVD also has special features which include a downloadable activity kit, slide show, and cute collectible toys!

There’s trouble in the jungle, and as usual, Mowgli and Mani are at the center of it all! While they enjoy their time drumming away at logs in the jungle, Shere Khan plots to put an end to the noise. Meanwhile, Tabaqui is stuck in a well, Appu gets lost, and there’s something fishy going on at the Cold Lair… Will Mowgli escape the clutches of the evil Shere Khan, and manage to still have time to join his friends in the jungle rhythm? This action packed feature length film promises to bring you the best of The Jungle Book.
