Universal Pictures has a new release coming out, JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN, the sequel to the comedy Johnny English starring veteran funny-man Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean, The Lion King).

Rowan Atkinson returns to the role of the improbable secret agent who doesn’t know fear or danger in the comedy spy-thriller Johnny English Reborn.  In his latest adventure, the most unlikely intelligence officer in Her Majesty’s Secret Service must stop a group of international assassins before they eliminate a world leader and cause global chaos.

In the years since MI-7’s top spy vanished off the grid, he has been honing his unique skills in a remote region of Asia.  But when his agency superiors learn of an attempt against the Chinese premier’s life, they must hunt down the highly unorthodox agent.  Now that the world needs him once again, Johnny English is back in action.

JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN – In Theaters October 21

Single father George only wants the best for his sixteen-year-old daughter Tessa. So when he finds a box of condoms on her nightstand, he moves them out of their apartment in New York City to a house in the suburbs. But all Tessa sees is the horror of over-manicured lawns and plastic Franken-moms. Being in the ‘burbs can be hell, but it also may just bring Tessa and George closer than they’ve ever been.

Tessa (Jane Levy) and George (Jeremy Sisto) have been on their own ever since Tessa’s Mom pulled a Kramer vs. Kramer before Tessa was potty trained. So far, George has done a pretty good job of raising Tessa without a maternal figure in their lives, but suddenly he’s feeling a little out of his league. So it’s goodbye New York City and hello suburbs. At first Tessa is horrified by the big-haired, fake-boobed mothers and their sugar-free Red Bull-chugging kids, but little by little, she and her dad begin finding a way to survive on the clean streets of the ‘burbs. Sure, the neighbors might smother you with love while their kids stare daggers at your back, but underneath all that plastic and caffeine they’re really not half bad.

Emily Kapnek (Hung) writes and executive produces this bitingly ironic single-camera comedy that combines Juno’s heightened reality with Father Knows Best’s heart. Tessa and her Dad may be out of their element, but at least they’ve got each other. When you descend into Suburgatory, it’s good to have backup.

I had the chance to watch an advanced screening of the pilot for Suburgatory last night. It premieres next Wednesday, September 28th at 8:30 eastern on ABC. I put this in my DVR to record all the shows. I laughed so many times it was unreal. I can sort of relate to this show on a smaller level but ideas are the same.

When it comes to Hot Wheels, we own a few…. Okay probably over 100 but that’s not many, right? The kids are always filling their pockets and my purse with cars to take when we go out. They are a tad heavy after they add 5 or so. Wouldn’t be it cool if they were smaller, lighter and…. let’s add remote controlled to that! It can be hard to find small and entertaining toys to take along on family vacations or a day of errands and that’s why I’m excited to tell you about this fun new toy I was just introduced to for the (little) big guys in your life!

The boys had an interesting time playing with this car. While I personally wasn’t very thrilled with it, they had a great time playing with it!

My Opinion: I like that the charger doubles as a carrying case and it was really super fast. While it was actually running, it kept the kids pretty occupied. Except when I had to retrieve it from under the fridge. Twice…. This tiny 2 inch car took a whopping 4 AA batteries to work.  They kids couldn’t use it right away because it had to be charged (despite the fact that batteries weren’t sent to us with the item, I didn’t have any on hand so the boys had to wait until the next day to use it anyway). The connector is so tiny it almost broke off a few times and it took about 30 minutes to charge this for maybe 10 minutes of play .

Spencer’s Opinion: (Age 4) “It does tricks! When it goes backwards it landed on it’s wheels. Royal can do a cyclone with the car. I can’t remember what else it does. Umm Oh it’s really really fast and so small!”

Royal’s Opinion: (9) “Did you see how it spins around? That was cool! I like that it goes so fast but it is kind of hard to steer it too. I didn’t like that it went under the refrigerator twice. Mom put a towel in front of it so we didn’t lose it again. I wish it didn’t take so long to recharge it.”
