These days I like any activity that I can do with the boys that is either pretty cheap or totally free. On the weekends that the boys are at home with me, they love to “camp out”. This consists of my king size mattress (Yea, total blast to move by myself by the way!) on the living room floor. We all grab our pillow and blankets and all 3 of us sleep on it. (Sorry but Mom refuses to sleep on the floor lol) The game is to see who falls asleep first and who can stay up the longest. Spencer always falls asleep first and a few times Royal has beat me at staying up! While camping out, we watch a lot of movies and it starts right after dinner. We get a few movies from Redbox because they are only $1! The only thing better than $1 a night movies…free movies of course! I never gave much thought to certain holidays like St Patrick’s Day. Other than Green Beer and Green Milkshakes, I suppose it could be a day to really give some thought to what are YOU lucky for? My dad always said if it wasn’t for bad luck, he would have no luck at all. As an adult I really understand what he meant. I don’t consider myself to be lucky in many areas but what I am lucky for is to have my boys by my side almost 24/7. They are happy, healthy and the best kiddos a mom could ask for! Okay… well… maybe I would make Spencer throw less tantrums and Royal whine less BUT other than that, they are perfect! I also feel VERY lucky to still have my mom and my brothers in my life. I wish my Dad were here but we can’t have it all
