Can you believe it is only 4 days from October??? This year has gone by incredibly fast! I’m sure most of you know that October is a big month! There is so much going on for Fall and for Halloween. Looking for something to do? The Detroit Zoo is hosting Zoo Boo which runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings starting October 11th!
The Michigan Education Savings Program and the Michigan Education Trust have partnered with the Detroit Zoo to giveaway 25 family 4 packs to Zoo Boo at the Detroit Zoo. You can enter the giveaway by jumping on over and visiting Michigan Education Trust on Facebook or the Michigan Education Savings Program Facebook page. Entering is EASY! Just click their “like” on the MESP and/or MET Facebook pages, enter your name, email and phone number, then click submit!
If you would like to purchase tickets, they are currently available to Detroit Zoo members only, but they will go on sale to the general public on October 1st.
Due to Hurricane Sandy, some area towns have moved their trick or treating to this coming weekend. If you are headed out tonight, please stay safe, warm and dry! I hope all of your little ghosts, vampires and spooky creatures have a wonderful time! For those who unfortunately will have to wait until this weekend, I hope the weather conditions are better for you then they are for us tonight. Happy Halloween Folks!

Grand Rapids: 5-7:30 p.m. followed by a parade at 7:30
Holland: 6-8 p.m.
Lake Twp: 6:30-8 p.m.
Lyons: 5:30-7 p.m.
Maumee: 6-8 p.m.
Metamora: 6-8 p.m. then a party at Firehouse from 7-8:30
Millbury: 6:30-8 p.m.
