PostHeaderIcon How to Block Texts on a Sprint Phone

You may see a bunch of HOW TO’s appearing on my blog in the next week or so. I have decided that things that take me forever to figure out, I am going to share with you all. It has to help someone!

It took me sometime to figure this out without having to log on to the web EVERY TIME I wanted to block or unblock a number from being able to text me. I am sure there are many people out there who want to block people from sending them texts!

1. Open up a window to send a new text message.

2. Where you would normally enter the persons phone number, enter 9999

3. In the text portion write the following (substitute the 5’s for the number you want to block naturally) Block 555-555-5555

4. Within a minute or so you will receive a text message back confirming the number has been blocked.

5. To unblock a number, follow the same steps except write Allow instead of Block.
