PostHeaderIcon Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler + Giveaway

I used to live in Pennsylvania in an area where the cost of garbage pick-up was an outrageous price. Most people in the Poconos burn their garbage instead of paying for the pick-up. This means a lot of jar and can washing because you obviously can’t burn that stuff. I remember when I first moved to Ohio, I had finished up the mayonnaise and I started to rinse the jar out. Complete habit! I was asked what was I doing? As stupid as this may sound, the moment I remembered that I could just throw it in the trash, I was so excited. Not because I didn’t want to recycle but because it was almost like a novelty to throw it away lol

It seems like more and more people are getting involved in recycling these days. Royal even tries to get into it a little bit but he isn’t consistent. I live in a small apartment for now so I really don’t have the space for a bunch of bins. The Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler is an easy solution to that problem. It attaches to the inside of a cabinet door to collect recyclables out of sight and keeps your counters clear. The bag is durable, machine washable, and made of recycled material. Once your bag is full, you just have to easily lift the bag from the lid and cabinet by the handle to take them out to your recycle bin. The Hidden Recycler is currently available for purchase online at Rubbermaid.com and in store at Meijer. Here are a few details about the Hidden Recycler.

PostHeaderIcon Get Storage Style with Rubbermaid Bento Bins

It is very rare that I come across a Rubbermaid product that I don’t love. I have had some minor issues with some from time to time but mostly I offer nothing but positive things to say. I really don’t even know where to start with this review. I am so ridiculously in love with these boxes! I have “cubby” unit in my living room that holds 18 “bins” total in 3 different sizes. I own so many of the fabric bins that I keep my sons toys organized in and they really just don’t hold up. The boys are constantly pulling the bins out and putting them back in. Most of them come apart at the seams. I have been using the Rubbermaid Bento Storage Boxes for many months now and much to my surprise, (considering all the others I’ve owned) these are still in like new condition!

PostHeaderIcon Organize with the DYMO Label Manager

Living in a small apartment has made me look for tons of different ways to organize everything. From my pantry to all of the boys things, it is a never ending process. I will be so happy to move into my new house!

A great way I found to organize things is through the simple process of labeling. The DYMO Label Manager 260p was a great way for me to continue on but with a much neater look to my things. I fell in love with the settings on this label maker. It has 3 fonts, 6 sizes, 7 text styles, boxes AND underlining. You can print a 1/4”, 3/8” or 1/2” label as well. You can print up to 10 copies of the same label as well as store up to 9 for later use.  It also includes separate set of keys for numbers, allowing for faster typing and features quick access buttons for punctuation and symbols. It is  sleek, compact and lightweight design, allowing for fast, uninterrupted labeling whether in the office or on-the-go.

From the site: “Powered by a lithium-ion battery – the same technology used to power cell phones and laptop computers – the DYMO® LabelManager® 260P label maker eliminates the inconvenience of AA batteries. Charge and go unlike an AC adapter, labeling power whenever you need it. The label maker’s sleek new design is perfect for any office or workspace. Plus it’s packed with new features – inspired by our consumers– that help you get the results you want with more ease and convenience. See what your labels will look like before you print them on a new, large 1.18” x 2.36” screen that displays two lines of text. Work faster with an improved user interface that displays all menu commands without scrolling, and includes easy-to-read icons for formatting options. Choose from 3 fonts and 6 text styles; highlight your text with 8 box styles or underlining. Print up to nine copies of the same label, and prevent repeated work with a 9-label memory and “save text” feature. LabelManager 260P uses DYMO D1 labels in 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ widths. Enter text quickly and naturally with the familiar ABC keyboard layout, and use special function keys for fast access to punctuation marks, currency and other special symbols.”
