PostHeaderIcon It’s National Pasta Month………… says the Italian girl

Cucina Antica National Pasta MonthWho am I kidding? Being Italian means that EVERY MONTH is National Pasta Month, but for everyone else, this happens in October. You really don’t know what you are missing though. Along with my family, Cucina Antica is celebrating National Pasta Month throughout the month with delicious, authentic Italian recipes. What better time to try new recipes?? By adding artisan ingredients, like Cucina Antica cooking sauces, you are choosing  a better-for- you option that is full of authentic flavor!!

I have tried a lot of sauces in my, years but, Cucina Antica cooking sauces are made with imported Italian San Marzano tomatoes, no artificial preservatives, lower sodium, no added sugar, no added water, gluten-free and no tomato paste. WHAT? Did your taste buds just perk up? Cucina Antica provides at-home chefs products made through an artisanal production method that allows consumers to cook the sauces without losing any flavor. Guess what else? They are one of few sauces that are non-GMO verified!

Give me red tomato gravy and I can make just about anything with it. Pumpkin on the other hand, not really something I have worked with before. But, I was determined I was going to figure out something to make with it! I would definitely have to ponder this one for a few more days.

Ball® Freshtech Automatic Jam & Jelly Maker

Ball Jam and Jelly Maker 2When I first started canning, I knew that I was going to run right to the Ball Fresh Preserving website in hopes to find some help. I wanted to make jam and jelly so, where else would I go? After all, the Ball brand is the most well known for all things canning!

I tried the making jelly on the stove and let’s just say it was a bit of a nightmare. This was probably due to the fact that I had kids trying to talk to me and I couldn’t give it my full attention. Such is mom life, right?

While poking around on the Ball website, I came across something called a Ball® Freshtech Automatic Jam & Jelly Maker. Say what?! Automatic you say? Shut up and take my money! I was so excited and went on to read more about it. There had to be some catch. I couldn’t be that easy and I need to know more before I spend $90 on it!

Here is what Ball says about this machine: read the rest of this entry »

PostHeaderIcon #Recipe Hearty Breakfast Quiche

Hearty Breakfast Quiche - DelightfulChaos.com
Life with children can be very chaotic. Add in 4 children getting ready for school and it becomes even more chaotic. I am happy to say that most mornings, the kids do what they need to except one. One of them always has a problem. Whether it’s a missing sock, someone taking too long in the bathroom or just a cranky child, I try to avoid total chaos.

I like prep ahead breakfast ideas because of that chaos. Now, I am sure this has been done 100 times before but, I just looked at the new pans I bought and thought to myself, “Let’s see what I can dome up with.” This is a completely versatile recipe and you can put whatever you want in it. This is how I made it and it was absolutely mouth-watering.

Do you have your own version of this quiche? I would love to give yours a try too! Be sure to enter the giveaway below. There are 6 chances to win! Each winner will receive 1 pan. Good luck!

PostHeaderIcon Recipe: Creamy Swiss Chicken

Disclosure: This is a NOT a sponsored post.

I have been trying out A LOT of new recipes lately. I am going to share ones that I think are very simple and delicious with you! I made this one the other night and the boys, normally picky like their mother, LOVED IT! I consider it a score for me! I am a big chicken eater and this is definitely on my top 5 chicken recipes. If you try this one, please come back and tell me what you thought!

Ingredients:

8 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
8 slices Swiss Cheese
1 (10.5 oz) can Cream of Chicken Soup
1/2 cup Dry White Wine
1 cup dry, seasoned stuffing mix or croutons, crushed
4 tbsp Butter, melted

Directions:

Preheat oven 350 and Grease a 9×13 casserole dish.
1. Place chicken in prepared dish and cover with cheese. I just sliced the cheese in half and used an entire slice on each piece of chicken. I also only made 6 pieces since there is only 3 of us. Recipe was still fine.
