Having a Party?! Party City has it all!
It amazes me that my “baby” is now 8 years old. My life was so very different when he came into it. If I could go back I would have enjoyed more of the little moments with him. I am happy to say that I am enjoying EVER moment with him now!
For his birthday he begged for a Transformers party. I wasn’t sure how I was going to pull it off but I knew that my baby was getting his party! The folks at Party City were VERY generous is providing us with EVERYTHING we needed for his bash! (Well except for the food and someone to cook it for me!
) Thankfully I was able to hit Party City without the boys and had a great experience!
I don’t think that there is anything you could need for a party that they didn’t have and for any type of party you could be having! I actually saw a couple who was doing a end of summer bash and they had a cart full of some awesome stuff. Here is a list of just some of the stuff that I picked on my trip around Party City. Plates, Cups, Pinata, Candy, Small toys that were only $.10 for the Pinata, Party Hats, Utensils, Balloons, Drink Bucket, Goodie bags, Thank You cards, wrapping paper, serving trays, dip trays, serving utensils, helium tank and a much more! I walked around for over an hour! I honestly felt like a kid in a candy store with full pockets of change.
The experience was a very pleasant one. The isles are all set up in a nice layout and ORGANIZED! I only had a problem finding the isle with the serving items. I knew it was there but had somehow walked passed it half a dozen times. I was distracted by all of the “purdy” colors! I was super happy to see that a good portion of the Transformer stuff had also been marked down to 50% off! As with any store, there were a few items that I thought were a bit pricey (such as the plastic disposable Transformer table clothes were over $7 regular price *gasp*)
We also hit Party City every Halloween to check out their HUGE line of costumes. The one thing that sets Party City aside from other stores at Halloween is there is no disaster area of costumes all over the place that people have ripped through. They have 3 walls full of images, each numbered. You tell them which one you would like and what size. One the costume is sold out they put an X on it so you are not wasting your time asking for items they no longer have. One of my favorite things about going there for costumes.
