Seafood is definitely not high on my food love list. In fact, the only ocean life I will digest is tuna fish and fish sticks. Do fish sticks even count as seafood? For my sake, I say they are completely countable! Okay enough about my fish stick delusion. Moving on! I really like to eat out. I don’t do it nearly as much as I used to. It’s too expensive and to be honest, I don’t miss the 30+ lbs that have dropped off over the past 4 years. (Score!) I am starting to get off topic and ramble a bit here. Okay, where was I? Oh yes, food!
We have a ton of restaurants in Toledo. You could more than likely eat at a different one every night for a year and never go back to the same one twice. I always look out for new places opening because I like to try new things. When I was asked to check out Bonefish Grill, I wasn’t sure. Despite my dislike for seafood, the nearest one was an hour trip. I went to their website and started looking over the menu. Now if you have a love for fish, you will love this place. If you are like me and don’t, no worries! Their menu also has options of chicken, pork chops, steak and more! They also have a kids menu, if you are wondering about that.
I should be calling this flashback Friday! When I received an email about reviewing the new DVD release of The Berenstain Bears: Golden Brother Edition and The Berenstain Bears: Golden Sister Edition, I about fell off my chair. I didn’t even know this was still being shown! I was watching this cartoon back in the 80’s and was so excited to have Spencer watch it. There is something about sharing your childhood treasures with your own children that makes the day. Most of you probably watched the original 1985 TV series but there is a newer 2003 series out. Still just as cute though.

I think that being a Mom makes you love cartoons even more than you did as a child. My Mom has just about every Disney DVD that has ever been made. One thing we always do when we go there is have at least one night where we do nothing but watch cartoons and eat snacks. I will admit it, when the boys leave, I find myself watching their cartoons. Once I realize they left I wonder why I didn’t turn it off. Subconsciously, I am addicted to some of them too I think.
