“GoGo” is really an idea and a way of looking at the world. People tend to over complicate things when the truth is a simple fact right in front of them. “GoGo” is the simple unstructured and active play that is pure goodness for kids (and the kid in all of us). “GoGo” is about having the imagination to create delight in any situation.

At GoGo squeeZ, their mission is to make it easier for kids & families to be a little healthier and happier. They work in the magical space where kids are happy and parents are affirmed. GoGo kids ask for healthier snacks and love to play outside. GoGo moms get to say YES! more often. Our purpose is to spread more “GoGo” love. They invite you to join them. They invite you to play. The more the merrier.

With the summer coming to an end and our children going back to school, the time for ice cream is still as important as it was when it was 90 outside! Let’s be honest, who does not crave something cool and creamy?  The summer is the perfect time to indulge in America’s favorite treat- ice cream and thanks to one of my favorite brands, you and your family can get that sweet taste in a smaller package, with delicious snack-sized confections.

I used to eat Blue Bunny all the time before I moved but unfortunately they don’t sell it here in Northwest Ohio. (If they do, I couldn’t find it!) I like to give the boys a treat but I don’t think we need to pound away a huge bowl of ice cream to get that treat. Blue Bunny is not making MINI versions of some of their delicious treats. These are the perfect size for Spencer’s little hands. I can also indulge a little without feeling terribly guilty. My favorite was the Mini Swirls Birthday Party ice cream cones. Swirls of creamy birthday party flavored ice cream with a thick inner swirl of blue frosting and covered with colorful confetti sprinkles all inside a crunchy sugar cone. OH EM GEE! They currently offer 4 selections of their yummy Blue Bunny mini treats.

One of the things that I am very strict on is healthy snacking. It is a treat for the boys to get things like ice cream (usually buy frozen yogurt or sherbet since they love both), cake or cookies. I have this thinking that the boys are still at the age where I can control what they are eating. Royal will be a Tween in just over a month so he will soon make whatever eating choices he feels like it when at his friends. We would like to think that we have equipped them with good decision making skills BUT, we all know they want to do what their friends are doing. Yes, even drinking soda. (Which they don’t do here either)

With the arrival of spring comes the opportunity to revive some of our New Year’s resolutions that lost steam during the year. Simply by replacing chips and cookies with nutrient-rich snacks like fruits, vegetables, and cheeses, we can spring-clean our eating habits. Royal seems to enjoy the Colby Jack while Spencer is always grabbing for the Cheddar.

Hostess, the maker of America’s most iconic snack cakes, is joining with DreamWorks Animation to introduce Limited Edition themed treats in celebration of the arrival of SHREK FOREVER AFTER on DVD and Blu-ray.

As part of the promotion, Hostess is offering gingerbread spice Hostess Donettes in special packaging featuring the unforgettable character “Gingy” and cherry sweet rolls featuring the smooth-talking dealmaker “Rumpelstiltskin.”  Other varieties of Hostess Donettes will offer special SHREK-themed holiday packaging featuring the beloved Shrek, Donkey and Puss In Boots characters.

Additionally, through January 14, 2011, Hostess is offering a $4 rebate to consumers who purchase two multi-packs of Hostess products and a SHREK FOREVER AFTER DVD or Blu-ray.

Longing for the days when he felt like a “real ogre,” Shrek is duped into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. The boys and I had the Limited Edition gingerbread spice Hostess Donettes. Not something I would have probably bought on my own but they were delicious!
