Every day it is the same thing, it’s morning and you want that perfect cup of coffee. Whether if it time for the commute to work or off to see that client, driving and coffee go hand in hand. What does all of this have in common? Spero Pavlopoulos.

Spero is a self-proclaimed coffee addict who wanted to enjoy a great cup of fresh brewed coffee while commuting each day. Life before BRUGO meant while sitting in his car he had to remove the lid of his from his cup to let it cool to a drinkable temperature. But the cup slipped, coffee spilled, and splattered everywhere… a disaster!

This prompted Spero to embark on a personnel crusade for a better mug. A spill proof coffee mug, an insulated coffee mug designed for a perfect cup of coffee. The best travel mug ever!

Life after BRUGO means that Spero reached the pinnacle of success, as defined by a coffee addict. A perfectly designed spill proof coffee mug, an insulated coffee mug all wrapped up in trendy colors with chrome accents creating a designer look.

BRUGO. A perfect cup of coffee, so sit back, tip and sip.

The BRUGO Travel Mug is an innovative solution designed by a coffee lover to give you perfect taste with perfect control. BRUGO is the only travel mug in the world to have a thermodynamic patented temperature control chamber that makes your coffee fit to sip at the perfect 150 to 170 degrees to stimulate your taste buds for the vibrant coffee flavor we desire.

Add the unique temperature control chamber to its innovative features and you’ll understand the BUZZ about BRUGO.

They fit into backpacks, totes, or luggage. They’re easy to travel with, and most importantly, the checkpoint friendly design lets you go through airport security with the laptop inside the sleeve. BUILT neoprene sleeves are designed to fit Macs and PCs, and come in a variety of eye-catching colors and patterns. They are available from 9″ to 17″ PLUS. Prices start at just $20 and the designs are bold and beautiful!

This year I have found myself traveling via “the air” for the first time and I have realized just what a hassle airport security can be. Even though there are “general rules” every checkpoint is different. Several airports I went through were a big deal with my laptop. In one place I had to leave it in the sleeve, another I had to take it out of the sleeve, another told me to just unzip it.

I have a 17″ laptop and if you own one then you know getting a good case for them is a real pain. I have had a few that I really liked but there was always that one thing about each one that I found I didn’t like.

I received a sleeve from Built and I REALLY like it. My laptop fits nice and snug inside the sleeve. It is created from the same material used to make a wet suit. This means if something gets spilled on it your not going to have to run like a maniac for a a towel because your laptop just got ruined! I have had a few different sleeves while trying to find the one I like best. With the exception of the material being a little slippery I like the sleeve.

CHECKPOINT FRIENDLY

It amazes me every time something comes out that reuses old products. I always think to myself, “What can they come up with next?” Jeep has come out with this great stroller that reuses plastic bottles. At first I couldn’t figure our how. This stroller’s canopy and seating area are made from PET recycled fiber saving approximately forty 16 oz. bottles from the landfill.

Likes: This stroller was almost all ready to go out of the box and it only weighs 15 pounds. All I had to do was pop on the wheels and we were ready! What is “cool” is it has the unique ability to keep Spencer cool in the summer. The cool-climate roll-up exposes mesh for better air circulation and creates a headrest, so baby is kept relaxed, comfortable and cool. I love this feature because it allows for breathablilty. This is great because all kids sweat in the summer and this will keep them dryer in my opinion. I love the cup holder for drinks on the run, cell phone pocket, comfort-grip padded handles and plenty of storage with cargo bags on each side.

The big sell for me on this was that it can hold a child up to 50 pounds. Spencer is almost 3 and 30 lbs. It was hard for me to find something that didn’t sink when he sat in it for awhile. It has a quick, compact umbrella fold that easily slips into travel bag which was nice since we travel to and from my parents. Spencer was very comfortable in this stroller. It has a generous 2-tier sunrider canopy with a windshield that adjusts easily to block the sun, a reclining seat back and a height adjustable 5-point safety harness. It works similar to moving the straps on a car seat. It also has all-terrain wheels and a reclining seat back.

Dislikes: If you look at the basket on the bottom you can see the cross bar. It is over the cargo net which makes it really difficult to get things in and out of the bottom. It was a real hassle when I went to retrieve something from the bottom.

Price: $119.99

Our family vacation this year was to the beautiful state of Georgia. Over the next week I will be highlighting some of the fantastic places we visited and ones that I personally would recommend to anyone visiting the Atlanta area. Every place that we went to gave us a wonderful experience. Even if you live in the Atlanta area and have not visited some of the great places that we did, I hope you will!

We have been to a few Zoo’s but never to an aquarium. I am a big animal lover but aquatic life truly fascinates me. When we arrived at the Georgia Aquarium, I was in complete awe. With more than eight million gallons of fresh and marine water and more aquatic life than found in any other aquarium, you are sure to see things you’ve never seen before! The Georgia Aquarium promises wonder and excitement around every corner. With so much to see and do, you’ll want to go back again and again. I know I already do!

Before we went I looked at tons of pictures online and not one truly did it any justice. I believe that certain things can not be captured in a picture. The feeling you get walking around the world’s largest aquarium is amazing. There are so many corners and sections and with each one Royal said I was like a kid in a candy store. I WAS the one yelling at my kids, “OMG you have to see this!!” ” WOW CHECK IT OUT!” He was cracking up the whole time at me.

My favorite part of the entire experience had to be seeing the Beluga Whales. I made it a point to remember her name when I was there but of course I forgot now These are incredibly beautiful creatures. I was amazed that they only swim 2-3 miles per hour and prey on about 100 different kinds of primarily bottom-dwelling animals. At least 11 different vocals have been documented, including high-pitched whistles, squeals, clucks, mews, chirps, trills, and bell-like tones. Arctic fishermen say they can hear the beluga whale sounds coming from miles away and that they can feel the vibration of their sounds coming through the hulls of their fishing boats. This behavior has earned this whale the nickname “canary of the sea.” For a full list of facts on the Beluga Whale, you can visit this Fact Sheet.

You can walk through an acrylic tunnel or stand in front of a gigantic acrylic viewing window, and you will feel like a SCUBA diver in an endless blue sea, mesmerized by thousands of fish swimming overhead. They call this section Ocean Voyager and it was built by The Home Depot. It is a home to the gentle giants of the sea, including whale sharks and two manta rays, the only manta rays in a U.S. aquarium, ever. Spencer was amazed at all of the things swimming above his head! This exhibit was specially designed to house whale sharks, the largest fish species in the world. Schools of predatory trevally jacks, squadrons of small and large stingrays, enormous goliath grouper and hammerhead sharks all ply the waters of this ocean habitat containing more than six million gallons of saltwater. With 4,574 square feet of viewing windows, a 100-foot-long underwater tunnel, 185 tons of acrylic windows and the second largest viewing window in the world at 23 feet tall by 61 feet wide and 2 feet thick, visitors will have multiple opportunities to view all of these magnificent animals. No other aquarium in the world has ever attempted to manage the variety and size of fish in this major exhibit.

In 2010, the Aquarium will introduce you to another amazing animal – dolphins! During this time, the African penguins will be housed in the Correll Center Animal Care Suite as they await their new home in the Cold Water Quest gallery, presented by Georgia-Pacific.

Below you will find a few fun coloring and fact sheets for the kids. You can see all of our photos from the aquarium in my photo album. The password is aquariun

I think I am the last person to put up a post about BlogHer. Why is that? I was a little disappointed with the entire event and I guess I just didn’t feel like I had much to say. I am not much of a party person and I don’t drink. All of the parties that I attended, it seemed like almost everyone was drunkk and acting like complete idiots or being outright rude. Now I did not say everyone, I said almost everyone.

What were the 2 best things about BlogHer for me? Okay, besides getting to see my girls Barb and Corine again, without a doubt meeting PaulaDeen and the great ladies in the Mom Select Swag Suite. That was a nice place to visit. Did I mention I met PAULA DEEN! You read it right! This woman is so wonderful. I swear to you that she is just as wonderful in person as she is on TV.

When I first arrived at the Suite it was total mayhem! People were literally cramming into the room grabbing stuff. i saw one lady put a stack of Lands End backpacks on the table and they were snatched up before she could even get out of the way. I love gifts and free stuff just as much as everyone else but at what expense? Thankfully the great ladies esencially kicked everyone out and said to come back later. They couldn’t even get the swag setup because you couldn’t move in there. When we came back later it was much more organized. They let a certain number of people in at a time and when they left more could go in. This was a great way to make sure that everyone was able to get a little something and it was fun to.

They had fantastic items including AdoraPet DVDs, Beaute de Maman Samples, Build-a-Bear Workshop Bears, CharcoCaps, Cultural Care Au Pair, Memory Card Game, Cystex, Disney T-shirts/hand sanitizer, Easy Mac Cups, Enfamil Gift Bags, ItzaBitza DVD Game, Kindermusik Gift Bags, Lands’ End Backpacks, Latitude Tools, Moving Picture Books, My Princess Party To Go- Princess favors, No-Slip Grippies Tights, Paci-Plushies,
Precious Moments Baby Clothes, Seventh Generation Organic Tampons, SoftLips and finally Wisk. I know whaqt your thinking.. That’s a lot of stuff! It was but since my “baby” is 2, there was of course stuff that I didn’t need. I picked up something from Latitude Tools for hubby. Yes, he got swag to! It was a Level and he was so happy that I brought him something home lol I also was happy with the AdoraPet DVDs and the ItzaBitza DVD Game. 2 products you definitely want to google and check out. I was happy to receive the Lands End backpack as well. They were very cool and not I don’t have to get my son one next week

Another highlight was I got to meet the people from Collective Bias who setup BowlHer. (Yep, it’s what it sounds like, A bowling party!) I ended up getting the chance to hand out Swag for them at the party. It was so much fun. That is more fun to me that getting drunk and making an complete ass out of myself. I was able to meet tons of people and have fun while doing it! Thanks for letting me help! I only ran into one unpleasant thing at this party. I did bowl for a little bit with Corine (ComplicatedMama) and Jen (MommyInstincts)(who didn’t mention me on her post at all boohoo lol). So this is what happened, the 11lbs ball was a little heavy but the finger holes on teh 10lb ball were to small. As I reached for the 11lb ball I asked the girl in the lane next to us what weight ball she was using, she very nastily replied, “I don’t f***ing know!” I was like oooookkkkk, have another! At that point she kind of ruined it for me and we all stopped playing. The girls went on their Merry Way and I went to hand out Swag. YEA! The sad party was this girl had on a BowlHer shirt, she wasn’t even just an attendee who drank to much. I won’t mention and names or sites but I did see it
