What can one say about driving around town in a $90,000 Lexus for a week? SAWEET! It took me a day or two to get over the WOW factor and actually start being able to check out the SUV. This bad boy has everything from a

What exactly is it? It’s an eight-passenger, full-size SUV, the LX 570 is the latest edition of the tarted up version of the Toyota Land Cruiser , as turned out by Toyota’s high-zoot brother, Lexus.

This is one beast and to my surprise, it rides extraordinarily well! I didn’t get much of an opportunity to leave the pavement, but previous experiences in LX 570s and Land Cruisers have shown impressive off road capability once you realize the large dimensions of the vehicle.

The LX 570 tips the scales in at crazy 5,995 pounds, and can go0 to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds. This is pretty impressive for the gross tonnage it has to motivate. If you are a led foot, you might want to know that the speed has been limited to 137-mph, which still manages to make this one flying brick just the same.

From the Hybrids that I have been test driving lately, this baby definitely is on the other end of the scale. My numbers checked in at 12 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. Yes, I did say 12. This is without a doubt a luxury vehicle and one would not purchase it, in my opinion, for fuel economy.

Some things I did love about this is the second-row bench seat can slide forward and backward. The third row seats power fold, this was fun once I found it. It has extreme interior luxury right down to the cooler box in the console! It also features 10 airbags

Some things I didn’t like were, the rear looks like a Lincoln. The fold-up third row blocks the rear view. The gas mileage as mentioned earlier is just crazy bad. The main thing that kind of got me with this vehicle is the off-road hardware really seems pointless for this class.

I also felt the setup of this vehicle was a bit over the top for it’s obvious use which s luxury. Would you take a $90,000 beauty like this off roading?
